About Us

McDonald Group Landscaping Co. began during the COVID-19 pandemic when brothers Peyton and Trey McDonald saw an opportunity to start a business. In 2020, we decided to focus on leaf raking in our neighborhood. What started as a simple idea quickly grew into a full-fledged landscaping company, thanks to our hard work, dedication, and the support of friends and neighbors.

Peyton, a junior at Cox High School has built a business that not only provides top-quality landscaping services but also offers valuable work experience to their peers. With a team composed of young, enthusiastic entrepreneurs, McDonald Group Landscaping Co. has completed over 500 jobs, specializing in mulch installation, lawn mowing, pressure washing, bush trimming, weeding, and more. We look forward to continuing to contribute to the Virginia Beach economy and help out both commercial and residential property owners.

Peyton McDonald: Founder and junior at Cox High School, Peyton is the force behind McDonald Group Landscaping Co. His vision and leadership have been instrumental in the company’s growth and success. In addition to his work with McDonald Group Landscaping, Peyton also runs Flyover Drone Services, providing high-quality aerial footage for various clients. 

Trey McDonald:  Student at Virginia Tech, Trey brings technical knowledge to the team.  Trey is a great leader, motivating and guiding the team with his strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities. His commitment to the business and his ability to inspire others have been key factors in the company’s ongoing success.
